O2 is taking a legal action against everything and everywhere for its decision regarding this year launching of the 4G services in United Kingdom. In other words O2 is threatening Ofcom last week decision for permitting everything and everywhere for reforming its 1800MHz spectrum for the coming up generation services. All the network arrangers such as Three, Vodafone and O2 put an objection over this decision which was announced on 21 August. According to the news this letter was also provided to the culture secretary Jeremy Hunt and has also stated that it would appeal this decision at Competition Appeals Tribunal (CAT). Also operator would assert for the short-term help as the segment of the process of appeal.
By this it means everything and everywhere can be stopped from the introducing the service unless and until the judgment is reached. According to the report O2 has also sanctioned everything and everywhere a notice of an ultimatum that by 28 August 2012 Tuesday for not launching a service of 4G. O2 is also refusing on commenting on this report. It can also lead to the 4G auction if the legal challenge moves ahead moreover the auction would go to take place in the early next year without getting delayed for any reason. The CEO of everything and everywhere has warned its rivals against any legal action to Ofcom decision. He also stated that he would support auction process in spite of many rules of the auction that are not liked by us.
