Samsung S3 is one of the models that has gained much appreciation and respect from users all over the world. The handset has been going pretty well I the market and there are people who are looking at its features as some of the best in the class. There are fewer phone that can actually compete with their high end features of this handset. The manufacturers have already claimed to have sold an amazing number of handsets and claims that the sales figures would touch the 10 million mark by the end if this month. The gadget has been talked to compete with the upcoming iPhone 5.

Apple has already been seeking this handset as one of the biggest contenders for their upcoming handset. Apple might launch its next phone in the series somewhere in the third or fourth quarter. Though the dates have not been announced nether the technical specifications of the handset has been leaked but Apple fans are expecting something out of the box. They are expecting Apple to bring something that would have a bigger display and a powerful operating system with a faster processing unit.

It is an interesting question if the iPhone 5 may prove may prove a golden nail for S3’s coffin. Could the new iPhone be able to outsmart the technical aspects the present Samsung giant. There are a few things that Apple would have to take care of. The company needs to improve the size of its touchscreen when the S3 is coming with a 4.8 inches AMOLED display. Also the company needs to work on the processor and bring something better than the S3’s Quad Core 1.4 GHz CPU.

Summary – Samsung S3 has widened the scope for other manufacturers to bring something better than their current models which puts immense pressure on the upcoming iPhone 5.
